Mrs. Fitz and Mrs. Wood’s classes had a special opportunity earlier this year to learn about real-life snowplows and how they help serve our community. The students even got to submit name ideas for a few of the plows! Today, one of the snowplows stopped by for a meet-and-greet and answered a few student questions. Mrs. Fitz and Mrs. Wood’s classes were also joined by the other two second grade classes for the experience. One of the names submitted was Snowball, and the team decided to officially name this particular plow “Mrs. Fitz Snowball.” What a fun and memorable way for our students to connect their learning to the real world! ❄️🚜
